Hello! I'm new around here. I'm Alexandra, apparently one of the few female roleplayers out there. I hope to meet at least one other female here. Either way, I'm very excited to be here! You may have met me already, as I am Sona on Discord. I am a beginner to roleplaying outside of tabletop RPGs such as DnD. But I'm excited and eager to learn the ins and outs of online play-by-post roleplaying! Sorry if I seem somewhat hyper or frantic. I can be that way sometimes.
Anyway, here's a little bit about me, just in case you're interested. I'm Alexandra (she/her), and I'm 20-years-old. I am currently employed at a Wendy's and saving up so I can eventually go though college without starving. I want to major in business and run my own board and card game business selling things like magic cards, roleplaying books, and of course, board games. I am a very friendly and hyper person, and I sing a lot, though I'm in no way good at it. My grades in high school were less than stellar, though I could have probably got As and Bs if I tried hard. I'm known for getting obsessed with things, such as this, so don't be surprised if I'm on a lot.
Welcome Alexandra! I'm Ottoman, or just Otto if you like! I know Krysis will be relieved that she and Maiden aren't the only ladies on the site! Don't fret about being hyper - the Constructs were built to give folks a place to expend that energy. I'm excited to have you on the Constructs! I dabble rarely in TTRPGs now, not for lack of enthusiasm but just lack of time. Also dabble heavily in TT wargames and board games so here's hoping we have another source on the market soon!
Play-by-Post is wonderful simply because it is so simple in how it works, I'm sure you'll have the hang of it quite soon. I know we have some awesome folks who will be more than happy to help get you up to speed - myself included.
Wilkommen aus The Constructs, Alexandra! I'm Torquatus, a tabletop and play-by-post veteran, though I haven't been able to do much of the latter in a while. Good to be getting back on both accounts now, though.
